Greenway House to open to the public

EMBARGOED TO 0001 TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24. Undated National Trust handout photo of the newly refurbished Greenway House. The £5.4 million restoration aims to return the property to its 1950s heyday, as it would have been enjoyed by the crime writer Agatha Christie and her family. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Issue date: Tuesday February 24, 2009. The holiday home described by Agatha Christie as «the loveliest place in the world» will be opened to the public for the first time this week. Among the rooms being opened to the public is the drawing room in which Christie spent summer evenings reading a chapter from her latest novel, described as the «Christie for Christmas», to family and friends — who had to guess «whodunnit».
